I specialize in research, design and development for interactive applications and digital games. I am experienced and proficient in both art direction and technical production. My background includes game design and development, computer graphics and animation, studio/project management and higher education.

I am currently a professor and program coordinator (department lead) of Interactive Design and Game Development at SCAD-Atlanta. SCAD’s Interactive Design and Game Development program is constantly named one of the top game design programs by the Princeton Review and a two time annual E3 College Game Competition first place winner. Besides SCAD, I serve as the studio director at Nohero Interactive, a game studio based in Atlanta. I am also the co-director of Qualcomm AR Game Studio, a collaborative laboratory bringing together students and faculty from Georgia Tech, SCAD-Atlanta and Berklee College of Music to explore the potential of Augmented Reality for creating new kinds of mobile gaming and interactive media experiences (www.argamestudio.org). As a game design and software development consultant, I have designed and developed games and apps for 3dvia, Mattel, NVidia, Qualcomm, Sony Entertainment, Sony Ericsson and Georgia State Government. My work is displayed as a permanent exhibition at the American Museum of Natural History in Manhattan, New York.

I am an active member and contributor to the game development community and I have given talks, workshops and presentations in numerous conferences such as the Game Developers Conference (GDC), Montreal International Game Summit, IEEE International Symposium on Mixed and Augmented Reality Conference (ISMAR), Asia Game Show, Southern Interactive Entertainment and Game Expo (SIEGE), Technology Association of Georgia (TAG) Workshop and Game Developers eXchange (GDX).

I received a bachelor degree (BFA) in computer graphics and animation from New York Institute of Technology and a terminal masters degree (MPS) in interactive media from the Interactive Telecommunications Program at the Tisch School of the Arts, New York University.
